There is a deep power in a photograph’s ability to freeze time and bear witness to life’s fleeting moments as they arise and pass. In so doing, it is my mission to showcase humanity, the natural world, and the important intersection between, with a weaving of words and imagery to tell stories that need to be heard.
Under Construction!
This website is busy getting a comprehensive makeover right now (February 2025), leaving behind Wordpress which also means over a decade of content on there. Some of it will be migrated here soon.
Disappointed? Well, here’s a tasty carrot hosted externally for you then: the complete Afterwords Japan: Through the Torii Gate pop-up newsletter archive. It’s a fun bit of storytelling with a lot to dig into.
Be sure to come back when the glow-up is finished and see what all the fuss was about.
The Con-STRUCT-tionnnn 🚧👷🚧
A note: Pulling out single images like this also pulls out the narrative of the project in which they were a part. Beyond the initial caption, I will soon provide a line of context and link out to the related project (once the work has been migrated to this website).
